JASON STONEKING is an American poet and essayist currently located in Paris, France. He has published two collections of poems, Double Edged Pen (Fresh Hell Books 1997) and no demon no god (Onestar Press 2000) and two collections of essays, Audience of One (In Libro Veritas 2011) and the newly released follow-up Audience of Twelve (Happy House Books 2012). He has also written several screenplays, directed two of his short scripts, and released an album as the frontman of a punk band. He is an avid chess enthusiast and moonlights as a tournament commentator for chess.com. This summer, he will be touring the United States reading his essays aloud.
