The 22 is an online arts and literature magazine that seeks to explore connections and intersections between the works of artists, musicians and writers. In some portions of The 22 the structure is presented as a diptych or triptych, allowing the viewer to actively participate in the task of opening the hinge that links conversations between the piece.

The magazine’s mission is to publish art, music and writing as integrated structures that play off each other and enhance the whole. Some issues address a special theme to which the twenty-two contributors respond. Each issue culminates in series of salon style events showcasing the contributors work.
